Verulam School

Introduction:

Gym Gear has recently worked with Verulam School on a new fitness suite. The fitness suite has been planned and designed with secondary school boys in mind.

Gym Design:

Gym Gear worked with Verulam School to get together a plan and a wishlist of equipment that they would like to have in their new facility. Once we had the school’s equipment wish list that is where our design stage came in. Our 3D design software was used to create a realistic mock-up of the room the school was going to use as the fitness suite. The equipment wish list was placed into the room mock-up to show them what their new fitness suite would look like. A 3D walkthrough video was also created for the school so show their pupils and staff the new facility. Once the 3D design and plan were authorised we then moved onto the delivery and installation stage.

Equipment Installed:

A range of equipment was installed from Cardio right through to Mats and Flooring. The cardio equipment included an X97 Cross Trainer and a Blade 2.0 Rowing Machine. Strength equipment includes 3 x Sterling Series, Half Power Racks and 5 x Sterling Series, Adjustable Benches. Free Weights and Accessories include a Dumbbell Set, a Kettlebell Set, 3 x Premium 7ft Olympic Bars, a Powerbag Set, a Medicine Ball Set and a 3 in 1 Plyometric Box. Mats and Flooring include 25mm Large Stretch Mats and our 30mm Premium Black Rubber Tiles with Grey Fleck.

Outcome:

The outcome of Verulam School is a fantastic new fitness suite with something to cater to everyone’s preferences. The students and staff can enjoy their workouts in a brand new facility.
